01What kind of videos is Cutlify for?
Talking-head videos: the tips, stories, product demos, and opinions you record on your phone. Cutlify helps UGC creators, coaches, and anyone who wants to spend less of their creative energy cleaning up a take.
02What does the AI actually do?
It analyzes your take for pauses, filler words, and repeated starts, then suggests a tighter first cut. You review the result in the editor and can restore, trim, split, or reorder it. AI cleanup currently supports English.
03Can I change an AI cut?
Yes. Every AI cut is editable. Restore all or part of a removed section, adjust a trim, and undo your changes. Your original stays available in the project, so you can keep the pauses and little moments that make a video yours.
04Does my video get uploaded?
Your video is uploaded when you run AI cleanup. Your original also stays on your iPhone. Manual timeline editing works on your device; keeping a local project is not a complete cloud backup.
05What can I import and export?
Record a take or import a video from Photos or Files. The current app supports up to 30 minutes of source footage per project and exports 1080p SDR MP4 video. Automatic captions are not included.
06Is Cutlify available on Android or desktop?
Cutlify is being built as a native iPhone app. This website is where you’ll find the iPhone download when it’s available. Android and browser-based editing aren’t available.
